    1/2, eff stack around $200

    Ep limp
    I 10 AKs in CO
    BTN calls
    BB calls
    (Ep folds)

    Flop JT7
    Chk, I chk, Btn chk
i think there are a lot of Jx Tx in my two villains ranges, don’t wanna get raised off the pot, feeling i got SDV

    Turn A
Chk, I chk again, Btn chk
I guess I could’ve bet here (maybe 16-22 into the $30 pot), but thought I’d get called by better… Maybe AQ,but that’s kinda thin… Now that I think about it, I guess i can get called by Ax, Jx, Tx with a gutter…

    Riv don’t remember, a brick
    Checked down, i win
Again i thought I’d make fold weaker hands and called (or raised) by better.

    Thoughts?

I guess i gotta bet turn, protect my range, if not, then the river is a bet for sure. Even if they fold, I win without a showdown, which can’t be bad

Definitely think you should be betting the turn and would also like a small flop bet of $15-$20 on the flop. Even though this could line up with your opponents’ ranges, getting the button to fold here is beneficial to give you position on later streets. With two overs and a gutter, you should really only be afraid of JTs or sets, both which should be acting big on the flop.

    Good points!
I guess I should fight that fear of bet/folding 😉

I agree with Matt. I think you want to bet the flop small simply because you have a lot of equity in the hand. Its not the worst idea to check given your analysis on other ranges, but I think you have enough equity that you want to build the pot. The turn is a must bet as you have to charge anyone’s equity on the draw. Yes, there’s a chance you may not have the best hand, but if someone had hit the flop decently, there’s no way they would check it through on the flop or check the turn. You have to be careful, but should feel that you have the best hand now.
