This is the last notable hand I took during last nights session. I’m still playing pretty loose. V1 in this hand had just came to the table and I have no clue who he is. V2 in the hand, is a draw-happy OMC.

    Hero Stack: 600
    Hero hand: J10o
    Hero position: UTG

    V1 Stack: 500
    V1 hand: 79o
    V1 Position: BB

    V2 Stack: 600
    V2 Hand: K9o
    V2 Position: MP

    Preflop:
Hero raise to 15, V2 calls, V1 calls

    Flop: J 10 8 rainbow
    V1 donks 15, Hero raises 45, V2 calls, V1 calls

    Turn: Qx
V1 leads out for 80, hero folds, V2 calls

    River: Ac
    V1 bets 120, V2 all-in, V1 calls

This is pretty much the bottom of my range when I open here, but I wanted to play and did not want to open limp. I get two callers and the hands they show, clearly they do not respect the UTG raise. Maybe it was me that was doing the raising as well, as I do not limp in this game.

The donk bet on the flop, to me top-pair or two pair. I raise trying to get it heads up in position with him. V2 calls and I suspected he was drawing again. When V1 called I was almost certain, given his action, that I narrowed his range to top-pair or two pair.

His donk on the turn surprised me. However, I think that queen may have saved me. I didn’t think he had the straight, but a glance over at V2 tell and I feared my hand was in trouble.

My assessment was: I no longer have top-two. V1 could have a bigger hand than I thought. V2 was obviously interested. I leveled myself into believing, “one of these a-holes has it.” and I ditch the hand.

I was happy with my fold. Just sucks to get outdrawn by two people. It was definitely a tough game for me.

Pre flop and Flop are completely standard, nothing really to even talk about. From all your posts $15 seems to be your standard open. I don’t like open limping especially from UTG. There is a question though, do you have any hands that you are calling with that aren’t nutted like a 9 or AK? Without playing with the villians for a while I would guess that there are a few 9s in their range, A9s, 99, 89s. On the turn I’m trying to see what bluffing hands there are and I’m struggling to come up with any. With no flush, and how the flop should connect so well with everyones range, the only thing is turning AA or KK into a bluff which I just don’t see players doing at this level. I think the fold was good against 2 opponents, it just increases the odds someone has a 9 and the A on the river means someone has either a K or a 9.
