Hi,this is a hand i played ,its 9handed the dynamique at the table its passive,i have 210 stack,
i limp Ah-9h utg,in lowjack old nit plr overlimp, btn tight overlimp,sb loose old experienced plr raise to 8 with 200 stack, bb folds so i opted to 3b to 25 everyone folds sb snapcall.I have history with this plr ,flop comes Ad-8s-9d pot is 58 he check i cbet 35 he snapcall, the turn bricks 2c and he leads out 50 ,so my question is do i shove or call the turn with this stacksize, pot is 178 and i have 150 behind, what is better and more profitable ?I shoved and he snapcall with 8-8 ,bottom set and i didnt improve. Thanks in advance and srry for my english.

I believe in this situation it doesn’t really matter. As the flop is rainbow and the only draws he can have are straight draws I would probably just call to keep his bluff range in.

He is on the top of the range with his 88. Just a cooler.
    Good luck!

I also think it’s a cooler. If you call and villain shoves river (would be 100 into a $228 pot)
    Pretty sure you’d call?!

You can also shove the turn if you think villain can have (and would call) with AT+, A8, A2, str8 draw or diamond draw.
    My humble opinion 🙂

With dead money in the pot; and the fact you’re representing a percieved very tight range imho you should have raised larger pre, that said, I think losing to a flopped set here is fine.
