Playing the 3-5 at Hollywood park. Max buy-in is $300. I have just under $900 in front of me and I announce that it’s my last hand. Dude next to me says that I should straddle seeing how it’s my last hand, so I did and get dealt black Kings UTG. 5 players call the straddle amount of $10 so I raise it to $40 and end up with 2 callers (Button and BB). Flop comes AJJ rainbow. Checks around. Turn is an off suit 5. BB checks, I put in a small bet of $25 expecting to get raised, but both players just call. River is an 8. At this point I am thoroughly confused and check after the BB. The button then goes all in for around $175. BB folds, I tank and ultimately fold. Good move or bad move?

Good fold very likely one them have you beat I’d suggest you should have bet the flop and raised pre flop to around 65.

Yeah, I should have tried to obtain more information. One thing I forgot to add is that the button liked to play any Ace, no matter the kicker.
    Thanks for the input!

Your PF raise isn’t big enough, checking it fine on the flop,at the turn , if u thing u will get raise then why bet? but if u still decide to bet then u should chose a better sizing to make sure hand like KQ KT TT 99 can’t call (pot odd).after betting small on the turn , checking the river showing that your weak,BTN could be shoving with KQ KT here after missed draw with no showdown Valor. I don’t think BTN have a J here (he mostly raise your small bet on the turn with a J). He will almost never shove 175 with an ace here either to a (around) 190 pot with BB still in the hand, BB could be stricky checking 3 time with J , especially when none of u and BTN showing to have a strong holding
