Had kind of an odd preflop hand that I’d like a lil input on. It’s 1-3 NL. I open UG+2 to 15 with pocket aces. Dealer calls. Now here’s where things get odd. This casino has a betting line and anything that goes over it in a forward motion counts as a raise unless otherwise stated. The SB places $30 across the line and then says call. She is informed that she has made it a reraise because of the betting line and saying “call” after crossing the line. She has about 100 behind her. She’s also a rec player who I don’t think is trying to angle shoot or anything. Here’s my question. Do I go ahead and reraise w/ aces knowing she probably can’t call or do I flat? I go ahead and decide to reraise to 80 and both players fold. I figure taking small dead money is better than losing by slow playing aces against 3 players. Would you guys have played that different?
I guess one of the blinds called?
At the end, you said against 3 players, did you mean 3way? (you, BTN and blind?) or 3 villains, meaning both the blinds called?
Anyway, with either one or both of the blinds cold calling the unvoluntary 3bet by BTN, I would go ahead and 4bet as you did… 80 is ok, 100 is ok too, (depends on the player in the blinds’s stack, imo)
