1/2 nl. I have both villains covered w 550. I raise utg+1 to 10 w AJdd. V1 in mp calls. My impression of him is solid but bluffy player, he went all in recently w a7off and folded out v2 better hand pre flop in a 3bet pot.

Another caller in MP and V2 calls in SB. Flop AJ6hh. Bingo!

V2 leads our for 18, I raise to 60. V1 jams for 175ish. A fold. And then V2 re jams for like 340. I think all the heart combo draws are avaiable, as well as 2 combos of a6 suited, all the ace kings, maybe even naked flush draws. the rejam just screams set of 6s in retrospect though. I couldn’t get away from top 2 and was shown the pocket 6s. Failed to boat up. Could I have gotten away? This hand tilted me so bad

It’s hard to get away from a hand that strong, but I think you could have done it.

3-bets and 4-bets are incredibly strong and it’s pretty rare that 1/2 players are 3- and 4-betting betting a draw here. Maybe KQ/QT/KT of hearts, but I still think they are flat calling here. Only reasonable hand that’s 3-betting here that you beat is A6.

Now when 2 people jam behind you, there is even less of a chance you have the best hand. It sucks to fold such a strong hand, but I’d say you’re behind here more than 95% of the time. Occasionally you’ll get two players blasting off with draws, but folding here is the right and profitable decision long run. I’d rather call here with KQhh before I call with AJ.

Thanks for response buddy, I agree. My biggest leak is massive mistakes w second but type hands as opposed to death by a thousand paper cuts per se. As I’m typing this i just got home from being stacked w king high flush against a boat where the board paired on the turn. I check raised all in on the river. Terrible play! I really need to work on not overlaying hands. Coolers have been killing me lately. Sigh
