Calling that 100% of the time. He shouldn’t have a set, and can have plenty of kings that don’t make a full house. KQ is always calling pre on the button, KT and K9 likely, and a lot of guys will play suited kings on their button.

So this was the very first hand of the tournament. I knew he didn’t have a K. I do believe I played this hand wrong. I went as far as trying to tell myself villain had 77 but, I’m pretty sure villain would’ve 3-bet.

I guess I misspoke. In a cash game I’d snap-call this 100% of the time. If you’re wrong in cash game and can just reload.

In a tournament that does change somethings, especially the first hand. If you’re planning to rebuy I’d call it, but I understand how chip preservation is more important in a tourney than in a cash game. I still think there’s more overplayed Kings here than full houses, but at least with a fold you still have plenty of chips in play.

Plus side of all of this I actually went on to win this tournament.
