Strattled pot to 13$. 4 callers I look down JJ and make it 65$. Folds around to pro and he makes it $165.00. I think for a minute then muck. He says I know you play tight preflop and would let go. He was on for 3 buy ins but was making great moves and coming back. Our stacks at time where $700-$900 on 1-3 no limit game. Looking back at this and as I’m typing he diffently out played me…… or was he trapping????!

Call or fold seems only course. IF you call, then you are basically committed to go with it on all good flops. But it is jacks so the low variance fold and protecting your stack is not bad. Why tangle with the pro when there are usually plenty of weak players in a 1-3 game.

He was in 5 seat I was in the 8 seat. He calls strattle the bumped up my raise. After I fold he goes I know how you play and your only jamming over top with kings or aces there. Then proceeded to say he had 9-10 spades…. I dunno about the 9-10 spades but I know he’s capable of a move but he was in for 1,500 at that point. Towards later part of night 1am I left average stack was 7-800. Some players with 12-1500. Game plays big for a 1-3 game with many players regs and other have just keep handing it away re buying $500 at a time. It’s a great game. I only go every 2 weeks cause I’m always tired after work and wedding plans are killing me. I am going to try and go atleast once a week. Sharpen my blade before Vegas in fall. I play daily online though super low stakes to keep myself on point and study every single day!!! I put in a lot of work so when I play I always feel like I’ve got an edge. It took 5-6 years before I became profitable at poker but when I did I was working part time and playing full time for 15 months and was crushing it. Had a great job offer and couldn’t turn it away. So right now I’m sad to say just a rec player.
