    In my opinion, you did everything by the book, so well played. What I would have done differently is maybe 3-Betting the MP raise, in order to narrow the field and maybe by getting some weak AX suited with weak Xs to fold. He might have had an A3-A9 suited type of hand, I seriously doubt he would have had anything stronger than that as with hands like A10-AK he would have made a 4-Bet; however, it often depends on the type of opponent, which is difficult to understand in an online environment with hundreds of players.

    so, what are you putting him on A/2? only hand that makes sense? and if youre putting him on 1 hand then I think youd be better calling. a K/Q or other suited hands wouldn’t lead and raise. High chance he had a/9 or a/5 I think. I think the EV has to be higher on a call. better chance he has A high and thinks he is way in the lead

    Thanks for the feedback guys. I ended up getting the second min-cash in this 3.4K entrants tourney.

    @theonlybjlegend

    I agree with 3-betting. I’d say I 3-bet 99 here 3/5 times. With no HUD and being just moved to the table vs one of the chip leaders, I decided to flat at 120BB effective. Is it the best decision? Hard not to be result oriented. Playing Vs. narrow range here is better for we fold 67 suited compos most of the time and all the low Ax as you said.

    @nitokris

    I agree. I am not proud of my fold. I still don’t know what to do and act skittish when I’m faced with out of flow bets. I am more worried about 67 suited combos here than A2 given that Ax of hearts is impossible here. The mistake is not 3-betting pre imo. I still have a long way to go in tourney play. Like in this case, I wasn’t sure what to do with 99 and 120bb deep versus the only player that covers.

    yeah maybe even a raise on any street to really see where you stand. Overall not the worst call but I think calling is the positive EV play
