I got coolered for a change. I’m in the big blind with 10d7d. My stack is around $500. Button raises to $25, I call and a limper calls. Flop is 10c-10s-8c. It gets checked around. Turn is a 7s. I lead out for $50. Limper calls. Button folds. River is a 6c. I bet $135. Limper shoves to put me all in. I call. He shows 10-8 offsiit.
Brutal hand. You and the limper are calling way too wide. This should be a fold preflop especially given that you have 100 bb’s to start the hand. The rest is just very unfortunate :/
I agree. I’ve been working on tightening up my opening range and playing a narrow range out of position and the result has been 4 consecutive $1,000+ sessions.
