    Hi all,

Just recently found Brad’s YouTube content and decided to join the forum here. Been playing poker for just under two years now, though I only got to what I would call a “passable” level of skill about six months ago. I came to poker by way of first loving Blackjack, but now I am a poker player pretty exclusively.

Just this last weekend I went to Harrah’s New Orleans (my first time there). Spent the whole weekend playing 1/3 NLHE. Had a great time. That was a lovely casino and poker room, and I returned home with an extra $200 in my pocket. Not a huge win, but I certainly enjoyed myself.

If any of you are regulars at Harrah’s Cherokee, I’ll be there this weekend, then again during the WSOP Circuit event the week of Easter, so I’d love to meet up and say hello before you take all of my money.

I guess I count as a Cherokee regular. I’m up there 2-3 times a month, which is not a lot but enough for some of the dealers and supervisors to be familiar with me. GA resident as well in Banks County, so Cherokee is about an hour and 45 minutes straight up 441. I’ll be there during WSOP the 12th-15th and again on the 18-19th, mostly gonna play cash but will be firing at the $250 $25k guarantee on April 12th.

Hi Heath. Thanks for joining the site and watching the YT videos. My girlfriend is from Georgia (small town near Valdosta). Unfortunately there’s not a lot near her parents in terms of poker. I think Jacksonville may be the closest casino. Are there any home games near you?

Hi Brad. Yes, there is a home game near me, thankfully. It’s on hold for the time being as we all self quarantine, but hopefully online poker can hold me over until then. It’s really not the same, though.
