Wanted to thank Brad for the great poker vlogs. He has inspired us to create our own poker vlog. Looking forward to learning more from everyone here.

Hey Joey, where in Oregon do you normally play?

    Hello,

Portland Meadows, Chinook Casino, Online @ Global Poker, and we have regular home tournament & cash games.

Awesome, those are all great. If you are ever looking for another place in Portland to play, “The Game” on Barbur Blvd is a great place for cash games. I used to play there about 5 days a week until I moved down to Eugene. They have cash games every day, $1/$2 NL at all times, but also run $2/$5 games every other day at the same time and have a $2/$5 PLO table every Wednesday. Just another option in case you wanted a new place. Daily door cover and no rake.

    Hello, Herm,

Thank you! I will check it out. I am planning on checking out the Beach Poker Club in Eugene this month. Do you play there?

Beach Poker Club is a good spot. They typically do $1/$2 cash games every day, typically one table sometimes two. And I think on Wednesday’s they run both a $1/$2 and a $2/$5.

Beach is a great club, very nice people. That club typically has deeper stacks for the $1/$2 game, where I feel the average stack is typically $300-400, but they do not run many tournaments, only a couple a month I think. There are a couple other places around Eugene if you ever need other ideas, or if you are looking to play more tournaments.
