    Hi All,

I first experimented in online poker about 12 years ago and it didn’t go well.

I’ve tried a few times since and similarly haven’t done so well.

I started again around January 2021 and have invested a lot of time reading, watching youtube videos and trying to implement what I’ve been reading / watching in playing Micro-stakes cash games.

I’m currently running at about 18bb/100 in Micro stakes (2c/5c) over about 30k hands (which is puny and i recognize it diminishes the meaning of 18bb/100), and I’m hoping I can slowly grind away a large enough bankroll to start to move up. For now though, I’m just pleased that I’ve banked enough to cover off my lifetime poker losses (talking in the low hundreds here).

There’s a thriving live Poker community here in Australia (Australian Poker League / National Poker League) with live games to be had every evening if that’s your thing. I played my first live tournament in January. I’ve had 2 final tables / cash. I’ve mucked the nuts twice by accident (now i understand why we need card protectors).

I’m very much enjoying the journey and thanks Brad for the videos, I hope to be able to play higher stakes cash games in the future.
