In this hand, Hellmuth is tilted and does a standard open from EP with AJdd. For the life of me I can not figure out why Mike Sexton folds Q10hh next to Phil. Obviously it is not the worst play in the world but 6 handed and Phil on tilt it seems best to call and take a flop, no?
I don’t see a link to the hand so I don’t know where the hand is from or who else is on the table. If it is an exceptionally aggressive game with lots of 3bets then it’s possible he does not want to get into a position where he has to play QTs out of position. Still, I agree, pretty nitty fold. Probably a “live read” lol
I believe they are playing a sit n go tournament (I could be wrong) Poker after dark had some different formats, I found to be a little odd. Anyway, Sexton didn’t want to get involved with a hand that could potentially be dominated and be out of position to any late action being a short stack. Just my opinion.
