1/2 late on a Saturday night.
I simply couldn’t assign a range to him, no cards of his seemed to make any sense to me except maybe a flush draw. I thought he might have a set of 4s, but even then we had decent equity on the turn.
What are your thoughts on my line? Did I make any critical errors this hand that could’ve saved me money?
Cheers

The biggest mistake was playing JJ in the first place. That should go straight in the much pre flop.

The turn bet is fine too, I suppose – as you have the open-ended and can continue to barrel him off whatever he caught on the flop (I could have just as easily put him on A-9/K-9 or A-Q/K-Q).
When he shoves all-in overtop, you really can’t be good, unless your image says that you can be pushed off a pot like that. But you still have the up-and-down to fall back on if your Js aren’t good……
IDK dude, it’s a terrible spot. 2nd pair with a draw to a straight/trips…. have to possibly miss a spade if he’s on the draw too… I guess at the end of the day the only place I consider a fold is the shove at the end.

Raising pre with JJ is correct (anyone who says you should muck this is incorrect). Your opponents call oop with 9T is actually incorrect, and loose.
C-Betting the flop is also correct, once again your opponent makes a loose call. At this point he may have a Q or a flush draw.
At the turn your opponent hit’s one of his outs, but it gives you an open ender with one more card to come. Here you have two options, and both are acceptable.
1) Check and control pot size. Downside is if your opponent is on a flush draw you let him draw for free. Plus side, if he holds a Q you limit your potential lose. This is a solid standard route.
2) Continue with your line of betting (which you did) as you now have more outs to win the hand. This is a more aggressive approach, but acceptable play. At this point once you bet, and your opponent raises you are priced in due to size of your stack. So calling in this situation is correct.

Appreciate all the responses!
