Greetings from Texas. I live in the Austin area and have been playing cards for about 15 years. I have predominately played nlh and very much enjoy low to med. stake tourneys. The last couple of years, I have ventured into mixed games(cash) and really enjoy them. It is def refreshing to play different poker games/ stakes and I honestly believe that it helps my nlh game.
There are no casinos in TX, but card rooms are starting to pop up. My poker buddies and I frequent these card rooms and take frequent trips to OK for WSOPc and WPT stops. We also attend the WSOP in Vegas every year for about a week.
I am excited about this site and look forward to learning as much as possible.
