Hey Team!
Looking for some critiques on the way this hand was played tonight and what people would of done differently. Thank You for the help!
Starting stack $430
Limit: 1-2One limper ($2), I am the cutt off with QT of hearts. I raise to $18 and the button re-raises to $60.
Everyone folds and I call the $60 (Critique…).
Flop comes Qd Ts 7s
I check and the button bets $65.
I have $370 left in my stack and am thinking on what to do. I can flat call and have around a pop size bet left on the turn or I can re-raise.
I assumed the player would be quite strong after re-raising pre flop with no money in the pot. I decide on jamming in for my remaining $370. The player tanks and then calls with KK. Turn comes a 9 of diamonds . The river comes the K of hearts.
Looking for some advice with the move here. Like it or don’t like it/ any adjustments to allow for better future play.
Thank You!

…But you catch the perfect flop. Calling the flop or shoving here depends on the villain’s range. I guess he’ll have overpairs, tptk, maybe some sets (but you have blockers). He can also have 2overs gutshot and flushdraw, pair+fd, sd+fd…
when you c/shove that flop, you kind of rep a set (or top2). I think I’d flat and shove pretty much any turn (wouldn’t like an A or a K though… maybe not a J either)
If you think he’ll call your flop shove with pair+draw or OP or OC+fd, I think I like the shove yeah

Anyhoo, I think taking the pre-flop action of bet then 3-bet at face value (is that fair for your opponent? is there a 3-bet bluff range in him?) you’re getting told your up against 10+ or AQS+, if you call the 40 into 80 OOP you have to realllly smash the flop to what to proceed – how often is that happening?
With the large bets already made leaving you an spr of 5 on the flop, I don’t think your getting a good enough price to call, especially with the reverse equity situation you’d be in if you improve to top pair on the flop.
However, you did make the call and smashed the flop. Not only that but it was a flop that a check-raise could easily represent a strong drawing hand (flush/straight/pr+ draws). So If you put him on a big hand I think the shove is more likely to be read as a drawing hand it will likely get a call from all your opponents range but AK. So the shove seems profitable to me.
If opponent has 3-bet bluff range then this flop could also hit him with the same potential draws, so getting offered 2.2:1 on a call you’ll get plenty of calls from those so a shove seems profitable there as well.
I just think a way more valuable question you should ask is what you’ll do when you don’t smash the flop and face a c-bet. That’s another interesting conversation.
Cheers
