ParticipantAfter failing Many (Many! Many!! a lot!!!) attempt to play good poker – this is my current experiment to stop spewing money.
I have deposited $100 – I am going to play .10/.25 everyday – But only 100 Hands!!
I realised that I play solid poker till I get a Bad beat. Once my Aces gets cracked or some one rivers me with marginal hand – Let’s not discuss that
Anyways, Out of those 100 I will post significant hands here. Hopefully will get some advised.
Also this is my first topic on any kind of forum.
Thanks in advance and Thanks to Brad for wonderful site and amazing vLog !
Cheers!

ParticipantDay 1, hand 4: I like the aggression here. I don’t think you played it bad at all. You didn’t donk the flop because you were pre-flop aggressor. I like betting the flop and turn, and the K and Q should be better for your range than his. Maybe he had top pair, but probably had a 6 or 7 and got stick. Big river bet may have worked, but I don’t mind giving up.
Hand 5: Way to loose of an open UTG. If you’re going to open that light, I would do it in the hi-jack or later. You really don’t need to worry about balance your range online, especially at microstakes.
Day 2, hand 3: I don’t mid the pre-flop and flop bet, no issues there. It’s a decent had to be aggressive with pre-flop, and since you flop open-ended I like the continuation. On the turn, I like the check. His turn bet is pretty big in relation to the pot, so while you made a pair you’re getting poor odds to draw at your straight. I’d probably fold here. The river bet was same size as turn bet – he was taking you to value town.
I really like how you’re limiting yourself. I might limit on time, not hands, but to each their own. It’s hard to stick to that limit, so good luck.
My only advice here: if you’re losing, leave when you reach your hand/time limit. But if it’s a really good session, staying a little bit longer isn’t a bad thing. You have to learn to limit this, but if it’s a really good table and guys are just giving you their money, might be a good idea to stay another 20 minutes/25 hands and reevaluate.

ParticipantThanks @John S!
It is really Hard but I am going to stick with it – I also decided to add another twist to it – I am going to deposit $25 every alternate week if I do not play Live in local casino.I just want to play good poker and improve and not getting distracted by the monetary implications.
Day 2, hand 3 – I saw the value town – everybody is doing great down there
Time for Another Session update. Jan 26 .25/.50 – 6Max Zoom
1. This one I played really well (I think!!)
TcQc (SB – 66.81) – HJ(44.89) makes it 1 (small middling pp + QJxtoAJx ) – I call – UTG(50) makes it 4.25 – HJ calls – I call getting good value (debatable)
– JcAc2h() – UTG bets – $5.74 – HJ calls – (Both of their ranges looks like TP – Two pair – UTG might have set)
– I JAM– (anything which makes their hand better improves my Hand too)
– Both players callJcAc2h – 9d – 8s ($143 after rake) – Best possible runout for me
