2/5, CO opens to 20$ with 1.5k stack, i’m on the button with KcQd and decided to make it 60$, CO is the same guy as before who sucked out badly with KJo, I’m not tilted but i’m definetly trying to get into spots with him in position where he can possibly make bigger mistakes, he calls. flop is A98hhd, he checks and I cbet 75$, he called, turn 9s he checks and I checked, river is 2d and he now bets 105$….i though about it for quite a while and I would think he would be in bluff-catching mode with AJ and less most of the time so with all the draws that busted I figured I could be good here even with just K high, he shows KK and all my assumptions were wrong loll in retrospect I should have double barreled a lot on this turn and not because I’ve seen his hand but just to put max pressure on any Ace he might have especially with me having blockers to AK-AQ, in-game he had been hero calling me a lot so I didn’t feel he would have folded A2s anyways so that’s why I didn’t….I still think the river spot was very interesting
Sounds like you lost the min to me. I think during on the turn against this particular opponent would have just cost you more money.
