bb was $4K UTG+2 i have pocket 6’s. I raise to $10K to isolate, cut off calls. flop comes ace, 10, 6. I bet $35K the cut off raises to $85K, i call. The turn is a brick 3. I push, cut off calls….he turns over pocket aces! What did I do wrong? I put him on either an ace king or an ace 10.
This is just the definition of a cooler. You have the third best possible hand and you lose to the best possible hand. There’s certainly nothing you did wrong. There are plenty of other hands that you beat. I’d never put him on AA given the action the hand. TT at best. More likely AT. That is rough.
