I know that there are some great sites with videos and articles but I was wondering what people would recommend for actually playing “training” hands. I am a recreational player that can only play live about once per week. Wondering some ways to shorten the learning curve to improving as a player and maybe saving me some money when I play :). Any good Software / Websites that you guys can think of?

tons of videos on youtube also. Even advice for low limit games. I watch live at the bike sometimes too. They play lowish limits on there too and you can watch how people play and even analyze if you think if it is a good move or not.

I have also learned a lot from watching Brad and Andrews Vlogs. They do a good job at explaining there thinking throughout hands. After watching those I learned my bet sizing was awful and will be taking that lesson to my next live session.

Thanks for the Response. I have found Youtube to be a great resource as well. I am just wondering if there is a way to get some “first hand” experience either online or against A.I. that would be valuable and perhaps translate to making better decisions live.

there is a WSOP app with play money and pokerstars has play money also. Poker stars has more tourneys you can play in. its gonna be different sense it is just play money, but you can still practice what you would do in a normal situation.
