Ryan,
I’ve read an awful lot of books, and some were truly awful. Best bang for your buck may be Ed Miller’s series that he wrote by himself (white covers), they seem very solid and not likely to go out of date. All the pros seems to be pushing GTO (game theory optimal) these days, and a good book for that is The Intelligent Poker Player (Philip Newall). At the lower stakes, though it is probably more important to be going for a style of recognizing other player’s mistakes and taking advantage of them. Watch Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen on Youtube, they do a good job of explaining their thought processes during the hands.
Good luck!
