Thanks guys… at the casino I play at theres a 20 second time limit then you can pay 1 BB to have 30 seconds more.
I really needed more time to think it over properly, but in the moment I used all the time I had and the extra time I paid for, then with about 5 seconds left I thought I had no idea what to do, I dont mind losing this money but I would love to have all of it and I called. (not very analytical but ended up being my decision with the time I had).
So he shows Q9 off suit which does make sense apart from the call pre flop. River an Ace lose the pot.
My thoughts after the hand when I had more time to think are, that if he’s betting this big it wouldn’t be a set, as he would slow play a set on a board with not really any draws, therefore he’d look to get as much value as possible by not scaring his opponents away. Then it just comes down to solely does he have Q9 or could he think he’s good with KQ or AQ here against me. After thinking about it for a long time I still dont know whether or not he would do this with KQ or AQ. But I definitely dont think he would have a set here. So ultimately I still dont know what I should do! I dont hate a call or a fold.
I also thought that King Queen or Ace queen might be better hands to call with as I have eliminated sets from his range and if he does have two pair they both give me more equity to call with then KK. Anyway, any thoughts on my thought process here would be appreciated! (not my actual thoughts during the hand as I literally decided it for no real reason!).

Managed to calm down now from the very tilting session! 1/2 is certainly frustrating especially when the buy in is capped so low leaving less room for raises and multiple barrel bets!
For the hand 3 because of the low cap after the pre flop raise and the barrel on the flop I only had 30 or so left behind and didnt see that getting the fold to this player so pretty much gave up the hand, was just tilted to see he’d come that far with pocket 4’s!

For the pre flop I do agree with you its a bit too loose especially from middle position, definitely a weakness of mine when I play live find myself getting impatient and opening hands I really shouldnt, at harder games would definitely be exploitable to 3 bets.
As for the sizing on the flop after reading your reasoning definitely agree that I should make it larger than I did.
With the turn, as it was such a small bet and I did still have top pair I decided on the call despite thinking I was behind, but without much thought that was any deeper than “this is a really small bet”.
As for the river, ultimately with the lead was trying to take a stab at it, and any raise and id be insta folding, fortunately it worked out this time.
Thanks for your comments
