Yeah, the 100 max is kind of a drag. I sure miss Vegas.

I spent some time trying to figure out the math and it looks like as long as the BB was calling, and especially if he was raising actually, I should call.
    Does this seem accurate?:

    pot after HJ allin on turn = $272 ($182 + $90)

    breakeven % (if BB folds): $90/($90+$272)$362 = 25%
    “ if BB calls: $90/$452 = 19.9%
    “ if BB max raise: $100/($100+$552)$652 = 15%

I looked at the odds calculator on cardplayer and see I was 19.05% if the BB had two pair, and less than 15% if he had something like Js10s. If the BB wasn’t calling I actually didn’t quite have odds though.

    Hi Colorado folk,
I’m in Boulder. my BF and I go to Black Hawk every Sunday and I’ve been playing only 2/5 at Ameristar now since last September. I used to think it was better to stick to 1/2 due to the 100 max, but I’ve changed my mind. 2/5 has been much more consistent and profitable, and the rake plus higher variance at 1/2 there seems rougher to me. I’m always looking forward to playing outside CO though, for real NLH. (We used to have a great home game locally but it got shut down due to a robbery).
I have thought about posting hands but because of the 100 max not sure it totally fits into the NL section. Curious to try it and see what kind of feedback I get though.
    Nice poker room Chris.
