Yes, I feel like you really need to call the river. The whole reason you’re in the Hand is to make the nut flush. And you made it. His bet was not too out of line. At least you noticed there was a potential full house and didn’t re raise. In that spot you would only get called by a better hand. So you really only last a minimum.
@Alex, thanks for your input. At the moment I thought about folding a little bit too quickly when I should’ve thought about 3 betting to $115 ish. This gives me control of the pot. At that point my SPR would be pretty low and I’ll be getting it in on most turns. My main issue at this stage in my poker career is building and protecting my bankroll. Obviously not a good way to think at the poker table but until I have more buyins under my belt I want to limit my variance. For that reason I probably shouldn’t play J6 suited from the button, huh? 🙈
