I hate AQ in this spot so I want to either call and proceed with extreme caution vs him (this is only if others in the pot are the reason for the season) but mostly just 3 bet to 120 now and fold to a shove. I am nitty so I usually just 3 bet and take the 40 BBs.

as Described I think if the villain is isolating With his entire and fairly tight range I will get shoved on by only aa and Kk and can fold of that happens. He will likely flat us with ak since he knows that he will likely take the pot heads up in position. Then he can play AK well vs us. And I think he will fold all lower pairs as he doesn’t have the right price to set mine. And he will fold all mid to high SCers too.

So we miss all the value from him here post flop but if he’s good we won’t be getting the value anyway post. But we take the 40BBs pre and that’s a ton of value!

I’d bet 15 pre. Then small raise on flop. Most low level players won’t fold to a raise of $20-25here. This will get $85-95 in the pot and about the same left in your stack. Then we can just bet 1/2 pot which commits us and opponents to the pot. You can also just shove (potsized with this action) but in low level games this loses too much value IMO. River plays itself because we committed on the turn We either call or Ship.

I like a $65 bet pre. $45 standard bit in this case we want to commit the short stacks pre and ourselves pre and post. Then just open shove any flop.

Honestly I think I would have played it similar. I would have felt sick when I got check raise on flop and if I was on point, playing my A game, I can fold here. Especially since he makes it 100$. So fold is best I believe to this sizing.

I think this big size bet is just what you read it as. In his head He is best and is scared of the turn. He thinks i can beat an over pair. AcX or A10 usually check raise smaller or lead flops like this.

But at 1-2,1-3, 2-3 there is so much of a WTF factor that this call fold is at least close IMO.

In my games villain can have sets , top two and jj and play this way so I can’t argue with the turn play. Since I can actually have the best hand at this point. And have outs now vs the flush.
