Thanks, Chuck. I have gotten real good at letting hands go when the conditions call for it… Still not great at folding top set lol. I think I just wanted to take the decision making out of it, which is not a good reason to shove. Thanks for the input!

I absolutely love Dublin. I spent a couple of weeks there in May-June of 2016 and playing at the Fitzwilliam was quite a pleasure. There aren’t many places in Dublin where you can be the “only American”, and in the tournament fields I was the only one. Good times. Are there any other reputable casinos? The Colossus was right next door to Gerry’s where I ate breakfast every day, but it looked sketchy from the outside.

Yazzie has some good advice. Hopefully you play in a place where you have multiple options. I play in Los Angeles, and there are a few large poker rooms. Shortening a session is a good idea – if you need to book a win, don’t be afraid to get up from the table up 40 quid (unless it’s a great table). I have been known to hit for a couple of hundred bucks on a $3-5 table and then go to the Bike (15 min away) and play $2-3. Commerce is also the largest card room in the world, so its easy to change tables. I hope you have some flexibility where you play to take small wins to break the slump.

He’s repping a straight or a set. This guy would have probably raised a pocket pair preflop. Two tone flop he would be unlikely to check with a made hand or a straight draw (although maybe I’m giving him too much credit). Smells like bluff spirit, Nirvannah style. Call it off, he’s going to bleed it back to you anyway if he hits. Thanks for sharing!
