I am wondering about the response to this post when Dave states getting 2/1 on a flush draw are the right odds for the guy with the draw. I thought it was more than 4/1 to hit your flush draw, and offering any price that was worse than that would make it unfavorable (-ev) to call? Can someone please clarify what is a proper betting price, and a proper calling price?

So as this hand plays out, the 10d hits the river. At this moment I wasn’t too worried about this card, I’m putting him on AQo. He could have QQ, but I felt like it was just top top. But it does put me in a quandary about how much to bet. I rather quickly grab some chips, count out 70 dollars and push that into the pot. Which is about 260, I didn’t want to check, and I was concerned about betting more because of how much I still had behind. Villain hesitates for about 20 seconds, asks me how much I have behind, which was 360ish, hesitates another 20 seconds and announces all-in! Now I’m not so confident it’s AQo anymore. I’m doubting it’s QQ, it could be Axd or any hand containing the A of diamonds knowing that he held that card. He saw me make the hero call just a round earlier when the calling station hit his trips on the river. It really didn’t seem like a bluff, I tanked for over a minute and decided on a fold!
I have several questions, which I will get to after I get some responses.

I think you are right, but with two people left to call behind me, I wasn’t ready to define my hand yet, as I was hoping the pf raiser would at least peal off one card, also hoping he had raised with a pair in his hand. And I was next to act after the flop bet, so I didn’t want to isolate him.
