    Hi Patrick,

Thanks so much for the feedback. I don’t disagree with anything g you wrote. One thing to clarify, the villain raised to $50 preflop and I flatted. It definitely felt passive. I was relying only on the strength of a marginal hand. I wrote that preflop I didn’t want to raise to get it all in, but at the end of the hand I was will to call it off without really defining the villian’s hand. Passive and inconsistent.

Thanks again! I appreciate the feedback.

No way’ you definitely should call. The button shouldn’t have queens or tens there and his range should be wide. There are too many draws on the board. The short stack can have queens or tens, but you’re now looking at the cutoff’s stack. You’re probably ahead of both and strongly ahead of the cutoff’s range.

Why do you rule out the AJ or J9 for a gunshot straight? The individual would have position on you and may call the flop just in case you’re c betting with nothing. AJ suited would have a gut shot, one over and probably a back door flush. Thought?

Kevin’s comments are great. To add to that, you’re targeting a worse Q or good 9. If the villain sees that and turns their hand into a bluff, then credit to them. Before betting, make sure you had a plan if raised. I’d make my plan player dependent. Against any unknown player, I’d fold. If I call, I’d have to know that my opponent is capable of bluffing in this situation or overvaluing QJ or worse. Against those folks, I’d call and then check on the river with the intention of calling the all in bet that the $140 is representing.
