Nice disciplined fold there against 2 villians… If there were only one player against you it would have been too much of an easy bluff card for him and you would have been able to call the 50 for pot control and to see the river… Not sure if either would have folded in this spot; but sometimes a bigger raise pre-flop is necessary in live games against mostly rec. players… Don’t let the bad variance discourage you man. Not sure if it was Brad or Andrew but one of them said they stayed in the 1-2 and 1-3 games for way too long… Sorry, not too much insight here but I say take a shot!

The 8 on the river is a good bluff card and I don’t think he is putting any more money in with a missed draw if you bet… If you bet than he is only calling with jacks, boats, queens or aces(lol), and 8’s… I would go for the check call in this spot because its more likely that he has one of those missed draws and will bluff on that 8.

I would widen my range for a while until you notice them adjusting… Who knows… They might not adjust and just let you have those tasty blinds… Take advantage of the edges when you notice them… Once you develop a looser image and they start calling more you might get more action when it’s value time.
