Why do people like K10 off, in early or mid position? Its a fold pre. But since u played it, u hit a gut shot. I dont see a problem floating 1 time, u hit the nuts and u got the money in on the turn. Thats what u want. U got coolered and nothing u could have done. U should fold pre, only play that hand in cut off or button with a raise if it folded to folded to u. Or if u are bb and the button rasies u, u can defend with k10off with a 3 bet. And if u are 4 bet u can fold
i say call. Only 2 hands beat u. He went all in because no A or K hit the board. Flop 9 high he prob had 10’s or JJ’s.
I always notice people that play higher limit and play at lower limit waiting for a seat are always super aggro and drop stacks quick because they feel they are better than u. I take advantage of those people. I couldnt find a fold here after turn. No way i put him on AA or AK.
Yes fold was to early, top pair open ended u could of just called to see a river, i probably would of raised to 150 because u picked up equity.
Well is was pretty loose to raise utg with k10 off to begin with, And risking your tourney on that board was a pretty sick call. He could of easily had a small diamond. And its online so its more than likely he does. But does he go all in with a small diamond? Prob not. Which would indicate a bluff all in more than likely. Or he could have the nuts and wants to look like a bluff. It was a sick call. Im not sure if i could do it. But good call
Here is a comical hand. Playing 2/3 max buy in 200 at the gardens in california, the button with k7 clubs ,i have 300 behind, i raise to 15, sm and bb calls and a mid pos player, flop 7h 5h 2c, sm and bb check mid pos goes all in 75.00, i call, sm calls , bb goes all in having everyone covered, now im on a decision, what can he have , open ended straight and flush draw? Trips? Over pair? No raise pre so anything above 10’s i would rule out. I decide to say yolo and call. Bad call probably but i could get lucky. Sm says i played this bad and calls. The pot is 1k. Turn kh. Mid position guy stands up and cheers. River k. I have fh. Runner runner lol. I jump up and run around the table with my hands up like rocky lol. Sm has AA( no raise pre?). BB has QQ. (Again?). These guys were pissed for like 2 hours and i got another 500 off them before i had to leave. Was hilarious.
