    Early position raises to 17
Call mid position with AK DIAMONDS
    Cutoff calls too.
    Flop: AK spades 8 hearts
Ep bets 17 I call CO folds.
    Turn j hearts.
    Ep bets 17 .
I raise to 80 and after a while he calls.
    River 4hearts.
Ep bets 100 I go all in for 220.He calls and shows AQ herts for a flush.
Should I have raised on turn to about 120 or the flop to about 70?

    My thoughts:

I would 3-bet preflop to $40, with premium hand and position. Gives you a better indication as to what his range is. Initial raiser likely calls, and you go heads up to the flop.

As it was three ways to the flop, I would raise his open, as it seems like he is setting his own price with a 1/3 to 1/4 size bet. At this point you should be ahead and want to charge the flush and broadway draws. I’d raise to $60-70.

    > Yes I know he has AQh, but we don’t know that yet. And with his holding, I don’t expect he will fold AQh, with backdoor hearts.

Turn brings two flush draws, and I think you should be jamming here. Too many scare cards out there. He is going to call with top pair and draw to the nut heart flush… so not sure there is anyway to get away from that. Bit of a cooler situation I’m afraid.

Just my $0.02, and I’m still learning.
